Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, must have successfully completed a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) approved boating education course or have passed an equivalent course or temporary certificate examination. Please keep in mind that Florida regulations state that you must be 18 years of age or older to rent a boat and must have either:
a valid boating education certificate or
In order to be eligible to rent a boat from Twin Rivers Marina, you must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellation Policy
A $100 deposit is required to make a boat rental reservation.
Customer must provide a minimum of 10 day advance notice (prior to the reservation date) of cancellation or rebooking in order to receive a full-refund or a reservation date change.
Less than 10 day advance notice of cancellation or rebooking will result in forfeiture of the $100 deposit.

MOST of our rental boats are equipped with Mercury 115HP.

TRM rental boats are permitted to go into Kings Bay, where Hunter Springs and Three Sister Springs are located, as well as into the Gulf of Mexico. TRM rental boats are permitted to go to the “scallop grounds”.

Adult life vests are provided, however if children are present in your party please bring the appropriate size children’s life vests with you.

Rental boats may be kept overnight docked at a home/rental in the Kings Bay area ONLY. The address of where the boat will be kept overnight must be provided to TRM staff. Overnights are subject to TRM approval and a $50.00 additional charge per night. Overnights are still required to fuel at TRM. Luckily, TRM has the lowest fuel prices on the water!

All rental boats are equipped with a Garmin GPS system. Knowledgeable TRM staff will provide a map of the area and answer any questions you may have regarding navigating the area, safety equipment, etc.

Twin Rivers Marina is the closest rental boat fleet to the Gulf of Mexico! Approximately 10-minute boat ride at required idle speed to the channel.

No. Rental boats are not permitted in Salt River due to it being difficult to navigate and the abundance of rocks and oyster beds present in this area.

The fuel tank on all TRM rental boats holds 35 gallons.

Florida does not have a boating license. However, anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 must have a completed boating education course to operate a motorized vessel in Florida waters. Anyone born before January 1, 1988 is only required to provide a copy of a valid driver’s license.
